This 3 day course offers front-line doctors, who look after children, a practical approach to recognising the unwell child with infection. You will learn to identify warning signs, develop differential diagnoses, account for immunological status, and manage a wide range of serious infections. This will be achieved predominantly through interactive small-group workshops (max 12 people per workshop) discussing real cases, and several short lectures to consolidate core knowledge. On the final day you can present your own cases for discussion with other attendees and faculty.
